Appreciation
My need to be appreciated is a
reflection of my compensation.
My annual taxation reflects the
state of my usurpation.
My want to be respected is my
daily occupation.
My
daily need for bread is my contemplation.
My work of paltry need is my
meditation.
My sadness of state needs
remediation.
My anger at God is near to
completion.
My contempt of you needs
propitiation.
My suffering’s complete in
humiliation.
My lifting up of spirit is such
jubilation.
My quandary was my thinking, my
need for exaltation.
My need to be the answer as a
renowned emeritus of recognition.
My want now only this, home and
bread and time enough to show my appreciation.
